Tools settings

One-Click manual purge

Flush generated static CSS stylesheets instantly. Clicking this button empties the static asset folder, forcing Divi to rebuild the CSS files when the page is next loaded by a visitor.

Automatic cache clear

Configure the cache clearing script to run automatically whenever page edits are saved or settings updates occur, keeping your layouts updated seamlessly.

Pro Tip: Run the Clear Cache tool if custom styling changes made in your Divi Theme Options or builder modules are not showing up on frontend pages.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does Divi cache styles?

Divi generates static CSS/JS stylesheets to combine and optimize resource requests, which improves website load speeds. Purging the cache simply forces the theme to regenerate updated stylesheet files.

Does clearing the cache delete my designs?

No. Clearing the cache only removes temporary generated static files. Your actual page designs, content database values, and settings parameters remain completely safe.

Will clearing the cache slow down my website?

Only momentarily. When the very first visitor hits a page after a cache purge, Divi takes a split second to compile and rebuild the optimized stylesheet files. Subsequent visits will load at full speed.
