Sticky Video

The Sticky Video Module allows you to display a video that stays fixed on the screen while a user scrolls, ensuring continuous visibility and playback. It’s perfect for tutorials, promotional clips, or any content you want viewers to follow effortlessly.

How to add module on page

Once Divi Plus is activated, it adds several modules to the Divi builder. To add a module on the page, use the following steps:

  1. Create/Edit a Page/Post that uses Divi builder.
  2. Create/Edit a row.
  3. Click on Add New Module option; choose the DP Sticky Video module.

Content Settings

Video

Choose the video source you want to display in the sticky player.

  • MP4 File – Upload a local MP4 file from the media library.
  • YouTube URL – Insert a direct YouTube link for streaming.
  • WEBM File – Optional alternative video format for enhanced browser compatibility.

Overlay

Add a visual layer over the video before it starts playing.

Great for thumbnails, branding, or custom visuals.

Overlay Image – Upload or select an image to display as the video placeholder.

Sticky Video Margins

Set the spacing around the sticky video container.
Useful for positioning the video away from screen edges.

Padding

Control the inner space within the sticky video wrapper.

Position

Choose where on the screen the sticky video will appear:

  • Top Left
  • Top Right
  • Bottom Left
  • Bottom Right
    This helps you align the video with your layout design.

Video Width

Adjust the width of the sticky video player to match your page structure.

Video Rounded Corners

Round the edges of the video using custom border-radius values.

Play Icon Settings

Overlay Image

Displayed above the video before playback begins.

Play Icon Color

Select the color of the play icon appearing on the overlay.

Icon Style

  • Choose Icon: Select a play icon from the available icon library.
  • Use Custom Icon Size: Toggle Yes/No to manually control icon size.

Play Icon Font Size

If custom sizing is enabled, adjust the icon size to fit the thumbnail or overlay design.
