Showcase product categories in a responsive slider! The DWE Woo Products Categories Carousel module for Divi 5 displays your WooCommerce categories with custom images, descriptions, product counts, and slider settings.
How to add module on page
To place the WooCommerce Categories Carousel on your page, use these simple steps:
- Create or edit a Page/Post with the Divi builder.
- Create or edit a row.
- Click on Add New Module; choose the DWE Woo Products Categories Carousel module.
Content settings
Category selection
Check specific categories in the checkboxes list to display them in the carousel. You can also exclude empty categories to keep your layout looking professional.
Display options
Toggle the visibility of category details. You can show or hide the Category Image/Thumbnail, Category Title, Description Text, and Product Count badges.
Design settings
Slider and arrows
Configure custom Swiper carousel settings. Set autoplay loops, column margins, transition delays, and customize navigation arrow positions and colors.
Category card design
Customize the category cards. Set background colors, border thicknesses, corner border-radii, custom shadows, and category image alignments.
Pro Tip: Keep your product category descriptions short (10-15 words) so that all category cards in the carousel remain uniform in height.

Can I hide categories that do not contain any products?
Yes. Simply enable the “Hide Empty Categories” toggle switch in the content settings to prevent empty shop pages from displaying in the carousel.
Where does the module pull category images from?
The module automatically pulls thumbnails defined in your WooCommerce Products category settings (under Products > Categories in WordPress).
Can I display product count badges in the carousel?
Yes, you can toggle the “Product Count” switch to show the total number of active products inside each category card.
