Do you want to improve your page views? Are you looking for ways to improve the appearance of your Divi website’s search results? Well, with the help of Divi Schema, you can do that effectively.

Don’t know about Divi Schema? It can help you improve your website’s CTR by transforming search results into Rich Results.

Don’t know about CTR and Rich Results, either? No worries! We’re here to help! In this post, we’ll break down each and help you effectively add Divi Schema to your website. If you are ready to do that, let’s get started!!

What’s CTR (Click Through Rate)?

Organic traffic comes from search engines like Google and Yahoo. If your website content has quality content, those pages will in the search results appear like the following:

Now, Click Through Rate (CTR) defines how many page views or page opens occur on a daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly basis when your page appears in the search, which is called “Impression.”

If 100 impressions occur and from them 50 times they convert to page views or click on the result, it adds to the Click Through Rate. (CTR)

Factors that can affect the CTR are:

  • Heading.
  • URL.
  • Meta Description.

If these aren’t optimized, you can expect a lower CTR. In addition, to these, what else can impact the CTR is the Rich Snippets.

What are Rich Snippets?

Rich Snippets or rich results are schema markups that help you make the search results stand out and explicitly define what it is about. Schema Markup adds structured data types to the webpage, such as product, review, and recipe.

This allows search engines to effectively organize pages in the database and display them in the search. The following is an example of a basic search result:

When the search result is a rich result, you get more information.

The above result showcases the review and the star rating, enabling it to capture users’ attention, plus standing itself uniquely compared to other results.

What’s the Difference Between Rich Snippets, Rich Results, and SERP Features

When people talk about SEO, sometimes, they refer to rich snippets, rich results, and SERP features interchangeably. But here’s what you should know about them.

  • Rich snippet: An improved search result that has extra visual or interactive features. Google now calls it Rich result.

  • Rich result: According to Google, rich results are an improved version of the basic blue link. They can have sliders, images, or other visual elements.
  • SERP features: The sections you see on the search results, such as the “People Also Ask,” Artist information or knowledge section on the right, video gallery, image gallery, video gallery, related stories, and even the “people also search for” section.

Divi Schema helps you score in the Rich Result.

What’s Divi Schema? Your Secret Weapon to Get Rich Snippets in Divi

Divi Schema is not different than the general structured markup language; however, it’s the way that can help you easily make Divi pages rich snippet ready. With the help of Divi Schema tools, you can apply different types of schema markup while using the Divi Builder.

There would be no need to use any SEO tool or schema plugins to make your Divi web pages rich-snippet ready. Instead, the Divi Schema tool will blend with Divi’s core fundamentals and add the schema type without increasing the load on your website or the page, which is unlikely with SEO or schema plugins.

The rich snippet content and elements you can create using the tools are:

  • How to guide.
  • FAQs.
  • Breadcrumbs.
  • Star rating.
  • Testimonials.

Once your website is schema-ready, you can boost the CTR to 58%. According to Milestone Research, schema-optimized search results get clicked 58% of the time, while non-schema-ready pages get 41% of CTR.

Therefore, it’s highly recommended to make your Divi website schema optimized or you can say, rich snippets ready.

Let’s see how you can do it.

How to Get Rich Snippets for Divi

The following rich snippet type you can have on your Divi website using the Divi Schema tools.

Howto Schema

A How-to Schema rich snippet helps you display a guide on something DIY. For example, “how to paint kitchen cabinets.” The rich snippet will display it in the search result like the following:

As you can see, the above snippet provides you with an introduction, total time, and steps to follow.

To make your Divi tutorials or guides ready for the Howto schema, you can use the How-to Schema module of Divi Plus. The module offers you fields to enter the title, steps, tools and supplies, time and cost, and link (if any.)

Then, once you have added the content, simply publish it, and soon, it will appear in the search as a rich snippet.

Review

If the webpage of your website includes ratings and you want them to appear in the search as rich results, you have to use the review schema. The schema-optimized review looks like the following search result.

Review rich result

In order to add this to your Divi website, you can use the Star-rating or testimonial module of the Divi Plus plugin. These modules are optimized for star rating schema and showcase your webpage with reviews as rich snippets in the search result.

To enable the review schema, you don’t have to configure anything. Simply add your content, and the rest will be taken care of by the modules.

FAQ Schema

Help users find answers to their queries directly on the Search Engine’s page through your webpage by implementing the FAQPage Schema.

This type of schema markup allows you to showcase the FAQs on your website in the search results as rich snippets like the above. Users can click on the accordion and see the answer. If they want to explore more, they simply have to click on the page’s title.

For Divi Schema, you can use the FAQPage Schema module and bring FAQs of your webpage to the rich snippets. Furthermore, you can customize the look of the content if users wish to open the page and read the FAQs effectively.

Breadcrumbs

Want to display your page trail in the search so that crawlers can effectively list your website? The BreadcrumbsList schema allows you to display the page’s position in the website’s hierarchy. This allows your visitors to explore different sections of the site effectively.

Breadcrumbs rich result in the search

Furthermore, it enables them to learn from which page they came from. Or, which is the parent page of the current page they are on.

Breadcrumbs Divi module

To add it to your Divi website, you can use the Breadcrumbs module. While using the Divi Builder, you can easily add breadcrumbs with the help of this module and tick another point for your Divi Schema.

Check and Validate the Markup

After making your website Divi Schema compliant, what’s remaining is to validate whether the schema markup is applied or not. To check this:

If the Divi Schema on your website has successfully applied, you’ll get the following result.

That’s it; you have made your Divi website rich snippet ready for the above schema types.
