Ordering issue in masonry layout?

In masonry layouts, posts in the first row are displayed from left to right. For the subsequent posts, the placement is decided based on the space available from top.

For example, here 4th post is displayed below 3 as it is the nearest free space from the top.

Here is another example. Here post 5 is placed below 3 because it is the nearest free space from top. And thus 6th post will occupy the position below next available space from top (which is below 2 in this case).
