Enable Filterable Gallery

You can use category filter in both modules.

Here is the area where you can enable the category filter for the gallery modules.

In Module Masonry Gallery

Go to Content >> Elements >> Enable Filterable Gallery.

In Dynamic Masonry Gallery Module

Go to Content >> Elements >> Enable Filterable Gallery.
