Why are auto updates not offered for the theme?

The main reason we don’t offer auto-updates for our themes is that our themes are child themes, and many users customize them extensively, including modifying the functions.php file. If we were to offer auto-updates, any customizations made by users could potentially be overwritten during the update process.

To ensure that your customizations are preserved, we recommend taking a backup of any additional content or modifications you’ve made before updating the theme. Once you’ve updated the theme, you can then reapply any custom code or changes as needed.
