File structure

After the purchase of the product, a download link will be provided in the order confirmation email. You can also download the product from the My Account area.

File name

  1. flexile-x.x.zip – If purchased from diviextended.com or other websites.
  2. flexile.zip – If purchased from the official Elegant Themes Divi Marketplace.

Installation

  1. On your WordPress Dashboard go to Appearance >> Themes >> Add New >> Upload Theme >> Choose File.
  2. Browse the theme file flexile.zip on your computer and click Install Now.
  3. Click Activate.

One click demo import

Once you have activated the child theme, you will see the Import Demo link on the WordPress Dashboard. Navigate to it and click on Import Demo Content.

 

 

This will start the import process. It may take a  few seconds to minutes depending upon your server configuration and resources.

Assign a Blog Template

Note: Don’t know how to use the Divi Theme Builder effectively, then Follow this guide first.

 

After the import of the demo content, the blog templates are available in the Divi Theme Builder.

 

To assign a Blog template to your Blog page or any category archive, go to the Divi >> Theme Builder.

 

Here, you’ll find all the blog templates. To assign them, simply head over to a particular template and click the (⚙️) Settings icon.

 

It will open the Template Settings with assignment list; here, choose Blog.

 

Assign a Post Template

Same as the Blog Template assignment, go to the Divi Theme Builder.
Then head over to a particular template, and click the (⚙️) Settings icon.
In the assignment list, choose All Post.

Assign a WooCommerce Product Template

Same as the Blog and Post Template assignment, go to the Divi Theme Builder.
Then head over to a particular template, and click the (⚙️) Settings icon.
In the assignment list, choose All Products.

Assing Header Layout

Likewise, the Posts and Blog page layouts, the Header layouts are also available in the Theme Builder.
To use a particular header template on a specific page. You need to select Specific Pages in the Template Settings and then choose the page you want the header layout to be applied.
However, if you want to apply the single header layout on each page, select All Pages. Or you can go to the Default Website Template >> Add Global Header >> Copy From Template >> Choose your header layout.

Assign Footer Layout

To use a particular footer template on a specific page. You need to select Specific Pages in the Template Settings and then choose the page you want the footer layout to be applied.
However, if you want to apply the single footer layout on each page, select All Pages. Or you can go to the Default Website Template >> Add Global Footer >> Copy From Template >> Choose your header layout.

Using a Prebuilt Homepage Layout

Create a blank page and load the Divi page builder on it.

Then go to prebuilt layout and select the homepage layout you want to import.

 

Using Prebuilt Hero Sections

You could use the prebuilt hero sections on your homepage or any other pages. In this video we used the medial layout as our homepage and change the hero section to Illustration

Using Prebuilt Inner Page Hero Sections

In flexile 1.0, the inner page hero sections in Divi Library are named as “Inner Page Hero Section 01” and so on.
The video shows the name as “Inner Page Hero 01” and so on for better visibility and the layout name will be updated in next version of flexile.

Use Divi Flexile Elements

The Design Elements of the Divi Flexile child theme are available in the Divi Library. To access them externally, you need to go to the  Divi >> Divi Library. Here, you’ll find all the Design elements.
To use the design elements, create a new page, or edit an existing one. Then, when you’re about to insert the Section, Row, and Module, choose Add From Library.
It will display all the design elements that you can use on your Divi theme website.
